I'm looking for the door casings for the driver & passenger side doors that have the speaker inserts in them..

Thanks

Yeah thats it.. AB has them, but they are damn expensive (http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/BTR8703PMAG.cfm) ... I like Len's stainless steel ones as well (http://www.americandirtroads.com/catdoorpanels.html#) but a bit expensive as well [much more worth it then the stock ones tho]... I'm just trying to get away with finding some cheap ones so I can add a head unit & speakers to my truck.

Has anyone ever experimented to see if a Jeep soundbar can be adapted to the rover roll-cage? There sure are a lot of bolt holes at the top of the B-pillar hoop that could be used to mount stuff. I've never cared enough to buy a stereo, but it seems like it could work...

I actually do have a besttop sound bar in my Wrangler thats for sale.. I don't want to part it out of there as I probably couldnt sell it as easily, but I could at least do some test fittings... It just brackets onto the rollbar w/ some U-bolts .. It's one of these: http://www.jeep4x4center.com/bestop/soundbar.htm

At one time I was kicking around the idea of using ski boat speakers: http://www.stokecity.ca/store/audio.shtml

The soundbar would work easily if the foam was cut, but I'd try to rig it up first some other way. I dont immediately see how the ski boat ones would work, it would take some playing.

You're lucky if you have the part sitting around, thats perfect for figuring it out. I'm sure the soundbars are available as separate accessories.

The soundbars are available seperately. I believe the older ones would probably work a lot better than the new styles.

The ski boat ones might need some customization. Not wanting unnecessary attention to the truck, I scrapped the idea.
