Thanks,

Yousef, Pendy,
I've got a '94 NAS D90 frame that's in good condition and without rust. Things have never worked out for me to use it.
I'd like $1000 for it and you pay crating/shipping costs. I'm near Atlanta.
Thanks,
Mike

Yousef yours can be fixed. I need to replace a wrecked one and have been looking for months. Hell I will fix yours myself for the right $ and get it galvanized like you want.

I saw that. Keith was trying to get it for me. But I need one now. He won't have it available until his project moves forward enough.

I would show up and strip the body off it if Jim C would let me leave with it.

Jim, I don't think I want it fixed it's beat up. If you really need one bad than pick this one up and that's if you didn't pick it up yet Keith told me you've looking for one for a long time, so go for it. I can wait

I checked with ECR back when they had to brush snow of them to look. They said what they have is to rusty. Did not seem to want to sell, did not even get into $. Maybe you and TwstdD90 can bait him to finish sooner. What are you after drivetrain stuff still?

Thanks I guess the barley pop is on me next time. I will keep a look out as well.

I really think yours could fix fairly easy to appear stockish with a bit more beef. I have tons of donor frames around for parts and such. Fact is you ought to build another one and keep this one extreme. Maybe your tag could float back and forth as needed?

Then if TwsdD90 agrees to his frame, at 1K if it is useable, that could work. The time frame could be good as well.

JP

Is Georgia close to the TNLR event? Maybe Tis could drag it up for me.

Who is Jim C?

Pendy, I'm sure it can be fixed. All I need is to put the ears back, pull the rear X member slightly out on the right, bend back the outrigger support, and I have some small dents on the frame. I know it can be done but I think buying one is better idea but I could be wrong.

BTW Pendy, you owe me now

Well, my name has been tossed around enough in this thread that I guess its time I showed up.

Anyway, my frame is good: bone stock, never wheeled, and its been southern all its life, starting out in FL and moving to SC. The only thing wrong with it is that it doesnt have 300TDi engine mounts, and it was easier for me to build a new truck from the ground up than to tear up my truck and having it sitting around in bits for months while I worked on my project.

Evilfij Ron is buying my motor/harness/drivetrain and I would love to have the chassis spoken for. Ron is right, with a cash infusion, my project will speed to completion.

I dont want to create a bidding war or make enemies here - have we worked out who wants a chassis and who is fixing chassis'?

Jim

jimcheney@hotmail.com - email and I'll be happy to dispense my phone numbers.

Follow-up Post:

And Pendy, you got any donor chassis' that you mind cutting NAS d90 fuel tank mounts off of? I want some for the tdi chassis, I dont have the equip to fab them for myself, and i bet someone here in SC would find a way to screw it up. I've had bad car karma in SC.

Mr.Cheney I thought it was you but wasn't sure.

Well I'm going with a diffrent chassis for my current Defender and keep the old one for "maybe" a new project. Anyway, what is the time frame on your chassis?

Just to be clear. Pendy is going with Mike's chassis and I'm going with Jim's right?

Jim I'll email you soon after I hear from Pendy.

My initial timeframe was to shoot for a fall (september-ish) disassembly of my truck. The other chassis should be all set up by then. If your need is more immediate, then we can talk. If I've got you lined up for the chassis, and Ron for the driveline, then I'll move more quickly.
