Tommy, i haven't been paying that close attention to your problem, but are you sure it's the ECU? If you are unsure, I"m crazy enough to let you try mine to verify. Let me know.

Thanks man, yes, it's the ECU -- as most know the tranny went out, had it replaced, take it out on first drive and it's running rough, stalling, etc. Comb through it and the ECU is full of moisture, I'm still trying to figure it out as it had basically been parked behind my house since buying in November, when it was running fine.

Anyhow the couple of replacement ECU's I've ordered haven't matched up -- one was from a 94 RR and the other was supposed to be from a 94 Defender, but wasn't -- Rovers North f'd it up (and charged me $500 in process) and listed it as so. Regardless even when I hooked them up there was no fuel injection, gas pouring into cylinders, etc.

So now I just want to quit screwing around and get the part I know will match up. The temporary DC tags I have for it expired in January, and I can't get it legal without an inspection, which can't happen because I can't drive the damned truck, etc.....

If you hooked them up and they both weren't working, you have another issue.

You've got other issues as the Range Rover ECU will work just fine.

Tommy, curios what you ended up doing here? I am trying Robbie's ECU from a '94 Disco (AMR3729) and it seems to be working fine.

Found one from a junkyard (can't remember the part #, but it fits the 94) for $150, plugged it in, and it worked fine. So no other issues.
