Fog or Aux Light Switch/Plug & Switch Plate

Hey folks, installing some fog lights and would love to use an LR switch. So I got two/three items:

First: would love a fog switch like this or this, IDEALLY with the plug for it so i can just splice it into my Hella wiring harness, that's even better. Otherwise, I'll probably just grab it from here.

And second, looking for a switch plate like this, but again, would rather not wait 3 weeks for it. My third switch spot on the lower panel was enlarged at some point so the normal switch sizes don't work and thus the plate. Bonus points if someone just has the lower dash panel for a LHD truck rather than a switch plate.

Double bonus points if one of the NoVa bros has em and I can pick them up!

Dan:

I've got a genuine/factory Aux switch Genuine Land Rover Switch #C38637L, brand new in the box. Should work for your application...$20 and it's yours (I paid something ridiculous like $40 for it). This fits exactly into the "cutout" that's under the dash binnacle.

For the switch plate, I've got one similar...BUT the rub is it's setup for a conversion over to Carling switches (from the factory switch size).

This is for a RHD vehicle, correct? If I recall from Happy Hour yours was RHD? If not, I've got a smaller LHD one that's custom and will fit with a couple of modifications to the dash area.

All that said, I'd suggest a switch over to Carlings anyhow:

I think for now I want to stick with the standard switches. All I've got down there are the dash lights, hazard, and now fogs (which are gonna be fused and on a relay). For future knowledge though, to convert the others to Carling or any other switch with a blade style connector, can i just snip the harness plug things and add my own individual connectors to each wire?

LHD version (same applies...requires a Carling conversion...easy to do):

Once you get to the point where you get sick of the factory hazard switch acting up I'm sure we'll be talking .

You can just snip the harness if you want, and crimp on a female spade connector (or whatever connector your require). I actually did the conversion on both my RHD and LHD trucks and left the factory harness "intact" and just ran little jumper wires from the factory harness to the Carling switches.
