fiberglass hardtop panel rubber seal

I know this is going to be a hard one, but I recently lost the rubber seal between the left side panel and the left quarter panel.... does anyone know where you can get one?

Lost the same thing. Got mine from the dealer for $55- ouch. Took forever for them to finally get it in. I think they actually got it from a dealer in VA.

You don't need them. No water comes in. In the three tops I had, I lost one on the first one and never bothered on the second two.

edit: if they are actually worth money to you, I might be able to dig around in my stash and find one.

Its not too hard to find actually. I bought some by the length a few years ago (not from a dealer). I like having it there since it looks a little more complete.

Mind sharing from whom you purchased it by the length.

I agree on the aesthetics of having it. If you don't care about the aesthetics then I've been using RV weather stripping in there for 2 years. Haven't taken the top off so I haven't done the repair. For those of us who actually wash our trucks, they tend to leak there if you don't have anything in place.

Wash, you mean like after you go through a mud puddle ... why would anyone want to do that?

Ron - if you could dig around and see if you have a rubber seal I would appreciate it. Thanks, Ruf

I got them from Roadside Rob, but that was a few years back. Maybe he still has some?

I don't have one. All my dead fiberglass hardtop parts are missing them. I have one more spot to look, but I need daylight.

I'll take a look for you tomorrow morning. I've got a fiberglass top I don't plan on re-installing.

Rufus,

Do you need the seal that goes between the side panel and the back panel?

Yes I am looking for the seal between the side panel and the rear quarter panel. I lost mine on the left side, but I'm pretty sure they are the same for both sides. Do you have a seal you are willing to part with? If so, how much do you want for it?

Yup, I've got one. You can have it for the cost of shipping it your way. PM me your address and I'll get it in the mail to you. I won't be able to get to the post office until this weekend, though.

Cheers,
Abe
