I asked this in another post but think it got buried..

Are there any good aftermarket speakers that will fit the factory speaker covers?

I believe they are 6" and should be an easy fit.

We used to use Alpine speakers and with a little mod here and there to the housing you could put the factory grills on them.

I pulled Alpine's out of it but they had the Alpine covers...I will take them to the audio store and get their opinion...although I'm sure I know the answer

Just came across this old thread. Did you find a speaker solution that allowed you to keep the original covers?
