easy to use, used digital camera

Looking to actually sell parts/trucks in the future to someone other than JimC so I am looking for a plug and play luddite friendly digital camera.

Anyone have anything they want to part with?

Paypal or trade for rover parts (no pictures of parts, I don't have a digital camera and can't get pictures off my phone).

:-)

Ron

What do you want/need?

The HP for $20 looks good. Does it take AA batteries or (hopefully and) plug into the wall? I am not good with rechargable batteries.

I don't have one for sale but tons on ebay. They take normal AA batteries, batteries last forever in them since they are so simple. They also take a normal sim card so memory is cheap for them the base camera holds 7 pictures at the best setting.

Good luck
Eric

if you want it give me a list of things you would want to trade for it. I am sure I can find something I would need or want. If not the one on ebay looks good, I just have had this sitting around as I now use my future wifes camera.

Please send me a PM with what you would consider a fair traded item and what you think the camera is worth. I have pretty much everything for a Defender, mostly used.

Sorry, maybe it's just the way I view the world, or maybe just how I view Ron. Have you met him? Someone who has been both a mechanic and a lawyer takes him out of the brackets I see most people put themselves into (i.e. not being mechanically inclined if they have a desk job, or not understanding technology etc.), yet he still does.

I just find the whole luddite/i can't use a camera thing hilarious. *any* cheap digital camera should be easy to use for anyone, especially Ron. I think he just needs a smack upside the head, or maybe a foot up the rear to straighten him out. I can offer my services if needed.

This is the same guy that favors EFI over good old school carbs and vacuum lines etc. Kind of the exact opposite of this thread imo (fuel+air+spark vs all that technology). Seems ironic to me.

Oh that and it makes me laugh every time i picture his house with all those parts in it.

charles
ps. If it's not clear, this is all said in jest and shouldn't be taken negatively or seriously.

;-)

Bryon, you have to meet me to understand.

I really don't know how to use a digital camera, but I do know how to fix rover EFI systems. I was not planning on spending a couple hundred for one to have it sit because I could not figure it out (I am also cheap). I cannot make the one my father gave me work or the one on my phone so I am trying for the no frills point and shoot model of digi cam.

Sure Sal,

Make sure to drag Dom along with you.

All rover people are welcome (but subject to being put to work for beer and lodging).

For those wondering what the "suprise package" was, it was Vehicle Dependent Expedition Guide and a new land rover oversized portfolio/wallet/passport holder.

I am going to try to get pictures off the camera tonight! Wish me luck.

Ron

PS I just looked to see what the book was worth on amazon and ebay and, apparently, I shipped him a $500 book.

LOL I think that is really funny and should make cgalpin roll on the floor with further laughter.

Yeah, if you had offered me a VDE, I would have bought you a digicam, came down, and explained how to use it.

I had no idea. It also almost got ruined in a thunderstorm in bstraw's house.

edit: and yes, JimC and cgalpin, that is a sawzall on my kitchen floor.

I now also need a 3v charger for a fugi camera.
