doors

hello ive got four doors, two with bottoms totally rotted out and two with surface rust........
Im looking at attempting to repair these myself.......

I have basically NO experience but feel im a quick learner.........

1. how hard is it to remove and aluminum skin and reinstall it......they look basically new and id hate to ruin them.

2. any USA sources or anyone have any bottom repair sections for the door frames?

3. anyone have a cheap welder they want to sell me?

4. is there any write ups or step by step instructions on how to do this?

Trick with removing skins is go slow, use the widest pry tool possible and just work your way around.
After you get the doors apart have them chemically stripped.
All the repair parts available are pretty much junk in that they aren't 100% perfect match. I find the Rovers North ones have the crisp bends, which most others do not. If you don't mind that imperfection, either you or a local welder can section in the pieces. Then have the frames galvanized.
Prime everything while apart, then reskin the door frames. A good body hammer and dolly is a big help for this. Only hammer the inside edge!
