Disco 1 Front Seat Covers

My son is looking for seat covers for his Disco.

97SE style seats, if that matters. They are not the early Disco type seats with the handles at the head rest.

Pics and prices please.

Clay-
Before I put Kexby's on Coyote I was running some generic Cabelas Trail Gear bucket covers (at a whopping $25 per seat for the tan ones:Cabela's TrailGear Seat Covers : Cabela's)

I nerded out and got two LR oval patches to cover up the Cabelas logo (iron on-gotta love it) and replaced the outside shoelace cordage with shock cord from REI. They stood up well and didn't look bad at all for the price.

They are generic enough that even though my Disco has different style seats they should fit over the handle style, but fit tight enough that they don't look bad.

I've also had LR genuine nylon ones before; the looked good and were so/so. Never tried the generic LR all makes nylons but thats an option.

Kexby/Knightsbridge are good quality but $$$, and of course you go up from here in the canvas realm when you look at M&M and such.

There is also Wet Okle if you want to spend some $$$ but for a child's DD...I'd go with Cabelas!

While I understand budget should always be a consideration when buying truck parts and accessories (like seat covers), I will say that Knightsbridge Overland Seat Covers are made of durable 600 Denier Cordura fabric - the same rugged material used to make luggage - and are custom-made in the USA to last for years. You get value for the money.

I've been field-testing a set in my D90 for 18-months now and after some serious abuse - 3 2,500+ mile overland trips, dust, mud, extreme heat, a leaky top, several coffee spills and more -they're still looking like new.

If you or anyone else on the board are interested in purchasing a set of Knightsbridge Seat Covers, I encourage you to check out the online store at www.knightsbridgeoverland.com.

D90 Source members will receive a 10% discount (enter code: S66PJIQ8SQEY) to offset some of the cost concern.

Thanks.

Clay,
Knightsbridge Overland Seat Covers are actually designed to have a little "give" to ensure easy installation and accommodate for slight variations in the seats due to age, usage, etc. Over time, as you use Knightsbridge Seat Covers, they conform to the seats for an almost custom fit. You'll see a difference within just a few days of using them. The set I have on my D90 actually look like factory installed seat fabric rather than seat covers. Let me know if you have any further questions/comments. Thanks.
