different approach cubby keys

Okay Board, I'm trying a different approach in my quest for 2 original Cubby keys.

If you have an original 94, 95 cubby with the lock and both original keys, I will take them.

Name your price....

Here is the kicker, I only want the lock and matching keys..you keep the cubby AND I will send you back an original lock with one non-original key.

Sounds like a great deal to me...

Thanks Board!!

KCD

Nope, I believe they are kind of a swivel gray key. Perhaps that was 97 only. I'm looking for a picture now...

Can anyone enlighten me?

welcome back by the way...

I think the original key were the Leyland logo one?

Many years ago, I could get these from a local locksmith.

Am I wrong? Was the grey/gray swivel key only for the 97?

2 of the original #4, the key itself, or if necessary, 2 of the original keys that are cut and the matching lock for the cubby.

That picture certainly does not make it look like the swivel key I'm thinking of...

also my vin ends SA981583 so it looks like it is in range...

Land Rover (and British Leyland) keys haven't changed their basic design in decades.

I was/am under the impression that the key for the cubby had a grey/gray plastic top that had a little swivel mechanism on top.

Here is a picture of the range rover key..

notice the little swivel mechanism? It allowed the key to move slightly side-to-side...

God I'm driving myself batshit crazy today...

Original 1994-1995 cubby box key images attached. They are black and most say "NSP" on one side.

The "swivel" kind was for the 1997 only.
