Diamond body armor

Does anyone have a white d-90 with the diamond body armor? I would like to see photos. Cannot decide if that is something I want to do. for those that have added the armor, are you glad you did?

The truck was on eBay and several on the site commented on it. The consensus was that it was ugly. Instead I would put a set of wider tires and rock sliders with the tree slider bar. that should keep your truck off the rocks. It won't help with the pin-striping from the tree branches though.

I was thinking about the truck that was on eBay a few weeks back where about an 8" strip of American diamond plate was used on the bottom of the body and doors.

Diamond Armor

Does anyone have photos of a white d-90 with the diamond armor? I am contemplating putting some on my d-90. Any words of caution before doing this?

Merged threads. Its really not armor, it just provides a tread surface or a little bit of unwelcome bling.

here's what I got....don't really care for it, but I'm stuck with the rivet holes....but the wingtops are handy when you're working under the hood, don't have to worry about scratching the paint with tools...

I remember that one, too. Here's a recent one with the same type of 8-inch diamond plate siding:
