Defunct In Tank Fuel Pump

If anyone has a dead in-tank pump/sender assembly, I'd like to buy it. I need the integrated sending unit, but my Tdi motor has its own lift pump, so I can bypass the in tank pump.

Ron Brown bought my v8 setup and I promised him the pump before I realized the sending unit and everything was integrated into one big chunk.

I may have one Jim. Why does Ron need your setup. Couldn't he use a RRC or Disco style for what he is working on. The defender style is quite different as you know. I will look through my junk for you. But check with Ron first. I would rather give him a RRC style then give up the lone Defender leftover one I have. I am still working on the mount.

Thanks Jim - also if you want mine, I'd rather someone get use out my good pump and me use a dead one than drown my good one in diesel.

You realize the D90 style has the vent tube built into the pickup assembly? Other bigger tanks have a seperate vent in the tank itself. Are you using the D90 pickup in a D90 fuel tank. If it is not for a D90 tank it will be a waste since the D90 pickups are harder to come by. The holding ring retainers interchange between plastic tanks.

As far as leftover fuel pumps from pickups. I have a half dozen or so pilled up still. I should sell them for 10$ each here as extras for trail repair. After I check they still work, they do not like to sit around.

Ron did you get the stuff from Boshea. If not, I will get back with him, he said you may not get them. I would PM you but it is restricted.

Jim and Jim, I need the D90 pump (or a D110 pump maybe?) the whole assembly in working order. Keep in mind I am sticking with petrol (on a TDI frame moreover!)

I told Boshea to sell to you as you were first, that was a week + ago. You could PM me but I never respond so you can email me evilfij at yahoo dot com

Ron
