Don't forget about Rob Dassler (ROADSIDEROB), several members have used him over the years for Manual transmission rebuilds, you might want to touch base with him as well..

I got a note back from the guy on Craigslist. It is a new trans, R380 with a new V8 bell housing. Being on the other cost, $1,900.00 plus shipping, it may be a bit too rich for my blood.

I emailed Rob too

Mike:

You might want to add your location to your profile. That would help. I have an LT77 in Portland Oregon but if you're in Florida it probably won't be worth it.

Cheers,

Paul.

I've got an NAS spec R380 I just pulled out of my 95 SW. Doing a conversion to 300 tdi. Trans is in good shape apx 100k on it. Slight grind going into 2nd but other than that is in great shape. On me if interested. Located in Utah
