Defender rear door stay / check

Does anyone have one of these they'd part with? I need to part where it mounts to the body too, as all I've got is a hole where that used to be.

This is a photo from the internet... but I need the bracket and the rod in the lower right corner of the photo. (and any other parts associated with it, I suppose) I've got nothing but a hole metal where the mount used to be, and there is nothing on the door.

There are different styles.... Do you want a spring loaded one or a latching one?

I didn't know that.

I guess I don't have a preference if either will work. I just don't want the door fly open so far that it tries to rip the hinges out, or bends something.

Here's what I found; is it what you need? Any other piece(s) to go along with it?

I don't know for sure since I don't have the existing part at all, but if it's for the back, cargo door it's probably the one. The only other piece I would need is the bracket that rivets to the body, if you have one.

How much?

Thanks!

Do you have the part that attaches to the door?

And FYI, this is the older style that uses a latch.

Hmm... that pic looks more complicated than I was expecting. I'll have to look more closely at the door and see whats there. Thanks for pointing that out.

Ahh... I bet that's what it was, as old as my 90 is. I'll still have to look to be sure.

Are the doors themselves compatible with either type of hardware? The drawing looks like maybe not.

You need the one that matches the door as the slide part is different.

ExMOD will be the bottom diagram minus the latch above the door check.

FYI, the latch style is NLA, so you will need to find used or make something up.
