Defender heritage grill

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a grill similar to the one on a 2015 heritage edition. Any ideas? I have seen the one made by nakatanenga, but I wanted to see if anything else is out there that looks more original. Plus, I don't like the exterior screws. Thanks

Your profile says you're still looking for a defender.

Have you seen these?

I've seen those, but they are still mounted on the exterior. I want it to look like the grill from a 2015 heritage. I tried to find a pic but I couldn't get it to download on my iPhone so I can post.

I bought a 1988 - 110 from Johan. I suppose I should add that to my profile. I really like the "heritage" look and I figure I'm painting it anyway. I've seen some of the exteriorly mounted ones, but I would rather find something so that it looks like a 2015 heritage front grill.

2015 heritage grill is roughly 800 i think and you need a VIN to buy it.

I spoke to rovers north and that is what they said. The number on the grille tag needs to match your vin. They didn't know of anyone making a knockoff yet, so I thought I would try here. Lots of industrious people on this forum.

Damn guys, thanks for all the kind words!

Steve - if there's anything I can do for you, and/or any questions let me know.

Quick (related) question...so the Heritage grille actually screws in from the back? Is that right? Or is it just plastic and snaps into place? It's got to be the latter...otherwise I don't know how you'd get the front grille off without pulling the radiator. Does anyone know if the Heritage grilles are plastic? That'd be the kiss of death for me.

I think plastic. On newer trucks to remove panel you take screws out of top of surround and two on sides.

The new grills are held on with push pins. This one though I think is all one piece.
