is the restrictor the only difference between petrol and diesel fillers? I have the original NAS neck for mine, but Pendy pulled out the restrictor to allow diesel nozzels to fit in there.

ok...so I have a used one that is available as soon as I swap it out...the problem is the spring for the flapper at the spout entry hole is broken. It still serves it's purpose but I'm going to change it out. It's your's for the cost of shipping and packaging if you'd like...no hurry as I will "bin" it if you don't take it...

Defender fuel filler neck

Thank you for this generous offer, but I just bought a new one from Dave. Maybe Sam in Vegas will want it.

Spoke too slow. I guess he'll take it after all!

I have one from my NAS 90 if you can wait a couple of weeks. Would anyone want to trade me for their oil burner one?

Bill, as I mentioned, someone doing a diesel conversion can use the petrol one by ripping the flapper out. all it does is prevent the larger diesel pump nozzel from fitting in.

But, for a diesel, the older ones that accept the extension tube for filling by jerry can are a better choice, NTC2676 and NTC2655. At least for people that travel further than the mall . You can fit any size nozzle in these.
