Defender front radiator grill

I bought a winch and I believe it will require trimming my grill to fit. It seems a shame to cut up mine which is in good shape. If anyone has a grill they would like to sell please let me know. Something already cut is best, but I might be interested in a whole one too.

thanks,
charles

I rememeber someone had a grill with two cutouts for their winch which they no long had...maybe it was in a RockWare thread? I'll see if I can remember.

Follow-up Post:

Nevermind. I just remembered it was for their lights that the holes had been cut...but they no longer used them. Still can't remember who it was though.

Ok never got a response about your schedule on your doormobile roof - would make the trip worthwhile if I can help you with it.

I finally remembered it was Philip (rover4x4), but it was from a post from 2007, so he may have already parted ways with it.

With what you'd cut out for the 8274, it probably wouldn't leave much of the grill left though! haha

Thanks, but it appears I am in for a bumper swap now too to use it. Maybe with the right bumper trimming isn't necessary. Or maybe I'll get a different winch. Will see how nice this thing is - looked awesome in the pictures.

Charles - if you get a Rockware bumper, trimming of the grill is not necessary for the 8274. HTH. Mark

That's not Charles' wife, but that doesn't mean she's any less of a trooper!

Charles, sorry, I am waiting for dormobile to ship my parts. They promised they went out today, but I don't know. I can do most of the work without the parts so any weekend would be ok.
