I have a bulkhead - paid $350 for it I think? Picked it up at ECR a year or two ago. It is "solid" but not perfect at all. Was from a 110 so it's easy to be LHD or RHD, cutouts for both. I am either going to cut it up soon for a franken-hybrid-disco build or buy a new galvy BH and start that way.

Oh - and I have a set of decent series 3 wings I was going to use but now probably will not. $100.

I also have 2 full arles blue SW doors in great shape, and an excellent hood with sandblasted support (was heading to galv with it soon) and may be willing to part with those - but not real cheap. I do have a set of STEEL new style door skins/frames with a few dings I bought from a fellow member and I'll sell those cheap (what ever I paid for them $250?)

Jake, you are on crack if you think you can put a pickup cab defender body on that truck cheaper than closing up the current clip. Have you thought about grafting the rear section you cut off back on? Like the last 6" of the truck?

Honestly two main reasons id like to swap a defender body on it is the floors are so rusty it's a nightmare and I'd like to have a defender so I figured why not build one myself.

Yeah no argument there, the defender body would be sweet! I thought you had said the decision was a financial one.

I think the floors could be easily solved with scrap metal and a rivet gun. Go to a junk yard and find a panel van or something to get material. Steel or aluminum would be fine if it's just a trail truck.

Yea it started a budget build but... I planned on buying a defender at some point. I figured I can piece one together at my own rate build everything up - you get the idea. Maybe swap the parts over from the white one eventually.. I don't have to rush it I have the white disco for a trail truck.

The floors are so bad there's nothing to rivet to. I'd have to weld firewall to behind seat rails and tunnel all the way acrossed.

I know a guy (ha good story) who has a 100 inch stretched Defender frame, tub, door bottoms, fenders, engine and tranny no title and it has a 97 engine and tranny with 37K on the clock. Very stripped no roll cage, no axles, no dash and no bulkhead.
