Andrew thanks for the offer but at the moment I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I don't have a spot to put a second gauge right now and am still trying to get all the bits together to add the second tank.

It is a pickup tube and sender unit together. I installed the 2nd fuel tank guage on my iron goat dash. Another way to set up keeping track of the gas level in both tanks is installing a toggle that hooks up to each ground wire from the sending unit. That way you can use one guage in the dash and toggle between tanks for a fuel reading. Just a thought.
Clay thanks but I'm doing just the opposite of you, I have a ROW truck that came stock with the underseat tank and I am adding a NAS tank in the rear. I acquired a NAS fuel pump and removed the pump section and will be extending the pick up tube so it will mimic a typical diesel sending unit setup.
