What about getting the dash reworked in leather? a man of means can swing this?

I bought mine here: Land Rover Parts and Accessories | LandRoverMerriamParts.com

It was like $200, plus a little bit for shipping.

For other people, If you don't have a NAS, you might have to send them a note to not enter your ROW VIN because for some reason the Land Rover computer will take the part number you've asked for, and then try to look up the OLDER version of the crash pad, which is not available in the US. They canceled my order because they said the part wasn't available. I asked them search for the part number without a VIN or to use a NAS VIN, and then there were able to order it for me.

LOL. That imperfection on the crash pad would drive my daughter crazy. I would refer to it as the character mark every time she told me that I needed to replace it.
