Waiting on a reply from Jvelador about the ladder, but no return email yet. Does anyone know how much the rear ladder from Urban Offroad costs?

I think it's around $800. You can check his eBay ad; I think he lists all the separate parts and their prices.

Ordered a rear ladder from Derek at Urban Offroad. Thanks for EVERYONE'S help. This has been a LONG project the finally came together somehow. I had to get the crossbars from RoverConnection, the basket shipped from Cali out of someones backyard, and the rear ladder and hardware from Urban Offroad. Total PITA but I think it will be worth it.

Just got my setup installed today and it looks great! Sorry for the poor quality cellphone pictures...

I was really enjoying the day until I hit a deer on the way home and messed up the left/right front fenders and bumper pretty bad. Oh well, I still have a nice looking rack!

Gary, are those pics of the Urban Offroad set-up, or OEM stuff that you managed to acquire?

OEM Roof Basket (used) OEM Front mounts and rails (new from dealer) UO rear ladder (new). I prefer the bends of the OEM front cross rails over the UO ones.

Those of you who have the UO rear ladder, can you share your over all impression? Did it work seamlessly with the OEM Roof Basket?

Thanks!

My overall impression is that it is great and fit perfectly with the OEM basket. He made my rear ladder to look basically identical to the SD ladder (it includes the passenger side lower step). The only thing that I noticed is that it looked to me that the steel tubing that he used on a portion of my ladder had some pitting going on, and it was used anyway and then powdercoated. The pitting is still noticeable even through the powdercoat.
Other than that, it is almost an exact match and I would challenge anybody on this board to be able to spot the difference between SD and my Urban rear ladder.

I am completely happy with my UO rear ladder. Fit and finish were perfect. The design is slightly different from the factory unit at the top, but I don't mind.
