D90 New Top Suggestions

What is the best top that is recommended for a 94 or 95 ST? As close as factory as possible and what would the cost run?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

Well, you can buy a factory bestop from atlantic british if you actually like that one. It is quite reasonable (Eric will set me straight but I think 1200 or so was the price), but what you want is a Badger which is ~$2500. It is vastly superior in every way to the stock tops

Buy an exmoortrim top. The are great. You can get them from safari HP.

What are you looking to get for them? Will fit 94 or 95?

will fit 95, 97 and 1994 if you have or add the beltrail kit.

almost new one (about 4000 miles) is a Black Badger I full top with gutter kit

New one is a black badger half cab with gutter kit

Would have to see what I have in them but it would save you shipping, tax and the normal year + wait for a badger

You are welcome to come by and take a look at them if you want, I am off all next week and part of the following week.

Matt are you doing any searching? If so you would have seen that Badger is by far the best, if you can stand the wait. They are super durable, so even used is a great option, as you'll get it at a discount, and have no wait, and still have many years of enjoyment.

The waiting list can be a year or more so I've heard. You might want to order a new one in anticipation.

I've had both a factory Besttop and a Badger and can say that the quality of the Badger top is much better than the factory top, although I didn't think that the Besttop was terrible either. Also, while I understand that the wait time for a new Badger top is quite long, when I needed a couple of hardware items for my Badger top they were very helpful and quick in getting the stuff out to me.
