Just got your email, the hard part will be finding the correct 5 speed piece. Try land rover land in east LA (sun valley I think is the city) I think they were parting out a 5 speed a couple weeks ago

I believe they are

Not to say you couldn't possibly get a auto to work, but I think they are auto/manual specific

I need the one for a 5 speed as looking at a manual trans the shifter has a larger gap between the window switches and the trans shifter - I thought they would be the same and I was wrong

Never knew that. Also rules out the soft dash RRC as a source. Tillery might have something.

For some oddball reason I have these parts out of my D1. But I'm traveling and can't get to them until the end of the month! So if someone can hook you up by then fantastic!

Damn good luck Jay, same thing happened to me from the clean one I got from Ray, different place though. I am constantly looking for ultra clean ones from customers(for my conversion, but can also look for you), what's your budget and I'll try to find you one.

I paid $150 to Ray for a nice one, I've got an ultra clean auto one but not positive if I'm keeping/modifying it yet, I will let you know as soon as I do if you haven't found one yet.

I really feel bad it broke...damn things are impossible to find and I was sure wrapping it in the mattress foam would protect it. Rat bastards at fedex probably sat on it.
