And you can sell all that custom stuff for $$$ if you want to return it to stock.

Snorkel: 300-350
Rock slider sills: 250-350
Winch/Bumper: 750-1000
Rear Tire Carrier: 650-850

Plus Keith is a snappy dresser.

Take your time. There are reasonable deals out there. Your basic requirements are pretty straight forward.

There is a beautiful one at Land Rover Nashville. It was Dendy's Jarrett's truck.
If I had the extra cash I would jump on in myself!

Indeed, they do have my truck over there and it is a VERY nice truck. It does have 105K mileage, but the engine was completely overhauled in the 90K time frame.
It has a lot of new on the entire truck including a Badger Top with Gutter Kit, Sliders, brand new front seats (heated), all new mats, new BFG A/T tires, Borla Stainless Exhaust, There are a few beauty marks on the truck, but no rust. The paint shines up like new.
It is a very nice truck and I sold it only because I purchased a NAS110.
Just my two pennies ... call Kelly Graham.

Meredith, although it is a little more than you are looking to spend, you can be assured that Keith's trucks don't need the maintenance that virtually any other Defender you find will need right away. Also, as Jim C said, you can sell off some of the extras to help make up the difference. Just keep in mind, that even if you find a nice one anywhere else for $25k, it will probably be in need of $1k-$3k worth of maintenance and repairs, so you should keep that in mind when you make your decision. I have never bought a vehicle from Keith, but I have seen a few that he sold and his reputation precedes him. If you want any first-hand experience working with Keith, there are a number of forum members here who have purchased from him and I am sure would be happy to discuss their experience with you.

I would buy the one in Houston and save the dollars for repairs. IMHO it is rust that is the biggest killer. Mechanical parts are easier to deal with and low miles does not preclude mechanical failure.

About 10k more than you want to spend, but I highly doubt it'll go at that price. I suspect you'll still see it on the market in about 90 days.
