Chair - like for a soccer mom

hi all,

you all camp and play in the woods. =)

i need to get my wife a chair to bring to soccer practice. what is a good chair? i see coleman and stuff on amazon. but i figure you all would have an idea of long lasting / good quality.

i saw a neat one the other day with a covering over the top and a cooler on the side - she was NOT going for that.

thanks!

We have had these for 4 years, been great. Fold up easy and fit in nice bag easy.

In the end get one that is flat across the front edge where your knees bend. This way your legs don't get squeezed together while seated.

I'm surprised that the ARB hasn't been brought up, it's a solid chair for the price. Extremely comfortable. http://www.amazon.com/ARB-10500100-B...ords=arb+chair

I had one for a couple years. Brought it down to MAR, in 13 or 14... can't recall. Had a guy literally buy it out from under me. He apparently needed it more than I....

I love these. The rear strut allows you to rock back.

X2 on the ARB really a nice comfortable chair, only problem with it is I rarely get to sit in around the camp fire as usually it's the first one with an ass in it and I end up in some uncomfortable $10 POS like Briggs is advocating. Go ARB your wife deserves it!

I use these:

American Camp Chairs - can't say enough good things about them (and we don't sell them - you have to buy from the guys that actually make the chairs...)

If you want portable - we do sell and use the Frontrunner chairs since they pack very small (get the storage bag) are easy to carry, and two of them fit exactly across the load bay of a Defender (nicely up against a bulkhead for the ROW folks who have one)

I have one of these. It's almost identical to the ARB chair and was only $30.

The shitty part is for whatever reason they're discontinued now. >

And like Jeff said - they get left at fields or in someone else's car.

Plus a true soccer mom/dad doesn't need a chair they run along side their daughter/son on the side lines

Fabric chairs are uncomfortable IME. Just get a lawn chair with a cupholder.

Hmmmm....so I have two OsTent King Goannas, and I can't get guys (esp Unc Doug) out of them when I bring them. Plus mumma won an ARB at the RAW event last year in the raffle, apart from the size of it, and the funky latch system it is pretty cool...but for size folded and unfolded, def the OzTent chairs

I really like my Pico arm chairs. They fold up nicely into a shoulder bag for easy transport

Here's a link, might be able to find them cheaper on other stores.
