Center Dash Fascia for Gauges

I want to add additional gauges like Evan has in his '95 D-90, and I am looking for someone or sources where I can purchase the interior trim pieces to do this mod.

I have highlighted the dash piece and gauge set with an arrow to better explain what I am looking for.

Ideally I would like to add three 2 1/16 inchdiameter VDO gauges, if the fascia panel will allow that many.

I appreciate the help in advance.

Thanks,

Jeff

That piece came stock on the 97's... I would call George at Rovers Down South.

Good luck,

Scott

Thank you Scott.

I know I have seen it populated with the additional switches for the '97. I guess that the cover plate to mount the gauges in is a fab.

I will give George at RDS a call. He already got some of my money as soon as he was back on the air. I apprecaite the suggestion and help.

Cheers,

Jeff

Jeff...

Your right, most people put their switches there, I have 6 waterproof switches on mine. But it comes from the factory as a completely unmarred intact piece of grey plastic. So, you will have to cut in the gauges or switches. You can also get them on ebay, from the UK, but they have been cut/modified to install a radio.

Scott,

Thanks for the additional information. I was not aware that the it came as an intact piece of trim. I thought from the pictures that there was a plate covered with material like the panel where the hazard switch , clock, and cigar lighter have. I have not seen an interior in person that has the actual gauges like I am talking about.

I appreciate the help.

Cheers.

Jack,

I am not really sure. I modified one of the attachments that Evan had posted in his thread. He has his truck for sale, and you might want to shoot a PM to him to determine which Momo model he has.

I think I have one or two of the center dash pieces.
What are they worth?

I really have no idea what they are worth/cost. I am not sure if there is more involved that just mounting the the piece with screws to the existing dash.

Have you used it for additional gauges?

Let me know if you have one you can spare and what you would like for it. Really like the projects you have on your web site by the way. I really like your D-100 project.

Shane -

Did you get a chance to see if you have one of these at your shop, and what you are asking for it?

Thanks!

Mark,

If you have not done so already, contact either Dave Smith (javelinadave) via PM, or call George at Rovers Down South (504-248-5301). George has them in stock and Dave has one at a very fair price.

Rover's North can order them, but the part has about a two week lead time since it they do not have one in stock right now.

Good luck.

the one I have has some original switches mounted in it as well as two holes for a couple of toggle switches. If someone was wanting to make a gauge setup like pictured above they would need a black off plate/panel to replace the stock black piece. I believe this is what was done to the one pictured above.
The second one I have is for a radio(already cut out) and is cracked in one or more places. It would be useable if someone was planning to cover it with upholstery.
I don't know what they are selling for and don't care if I sell the ones I have.
$10 for the cracked radion one.
$40 for the good one with switches, $30 without actual switches.
