CAR COVER - D90 Advice/Recommendations?

Anyone currently using a car cover that they are happy with for a ST? Need something weather/waterproof so I can keep the top down this summer without too much paranoia.

The official LR cover here looks good--anyone own one or have experience?

Or the one offered by Atlanic British?

Coverking custom made?

Thx.

I would not rely on the car cover alone to keep out the rain, BTDT.

Go to walmart and get a Tarp, works just as good and is alot cheaper
If you do get a custom cover, remember that any late add ons ( like roofrack, snorkel )ect...
will mess up your fitting cover...sooo be sure to add all the toy's you want
before investing in one.

I have one of those first picture ones that I got used from ROvers North Bulliton Board a year or so ago for $150 or something. It seems like a good cover, has the ears for the mirrors and everything, but now I have a snorkel and roor rack. If you want it, I will sell it for $90 and if you don't like it when you get it, I will buy it back and we both split the freight. Let me know.

If he does not want it, I'll buy it...

I second the tarp suggestion. I tried a car cover, but with the soft top off it would sag when it filled with rain water and then leak. Get a tarp and some bungee cords to tie it off with. Worked perfectly.

I'd go with the tarp too, it folds up nice under the rear seat (if you have the full bench) and you can throw it on in 5 minutes or less. Just make sure when you take it off you go back to front so any water on top doesn't find its way into the cab. I think I had a 10'x12' or something similar, you just need enough to cover windscreen to just over the tub, anything bigger gets in the way. A grommet kit to add some extra metal grommets is also a useful investment so the tarp doesn't tear. I used to carry about 8 bungees and it worked fine, just make sure you have the bungees with the plastic hook as the metal ones will bugger the paint if you happen to have a hurricane...
