I'll clear it out your shed once I get back from Europe! ;-)

It can stay there as long as you want it to. Not worried.

Unless Land Rover is making them in China all of mine are OEM. Very few people have bought brand new sets (Maybe some of the full restoration shops such as ECR, Safari, etc. but I doubt they would use chinese knock offs.
I guess you missed the photo of the Boost rims that was displayed. I don't know what you brought but if you take a look at some of Boost that are selling on-line, you'll see what I'm talking about. Just look at eBay.
What year did Land Rover made Boost rims standard in the US? I brought used Boost that came off a mate's 300tdi. I know that it was real. However, I often see people with boost rims that are questionable. Boost for $99 each, come on, give me a break.

400 bucks gets you five used genuine ones in the USA any day of the week. These wheels were on certain discos here in 97 or 98. Tons in junkyards. To wreckers $400 for wheels off a 15 year shit box is good money.

The uk is a different story. No clue if quality has gone up or down on these wheels over the years. It's amazing land rover has been using them this long.

This sounds about right. We were talking about $99-$120 each NEW.

I personally took them off a Disco 1 at a junkyard in Long Island, along with the 5 of so sets I polished and resold, packaged, and shipped. I paid anywere from $40 a wheel to $75 a wheel. I gave up on it because making $25 a wheel was not worth my time.

I don't know a single person who has installed un-used boost wheels that did not come from a junk yard or a board member who got them from a junk yard or car being parted out. Maybe your the first. In all fairness Josh was the one who told me about Car-Part.com to locate certain parts. I always keep an eye on on local Discoveries at the Junk yards.

Another fine example of using Car-Part.com to locate OEM boost: Copley asked for a set of 5 boost and within minutes he had a source for 4 of them for $200 and a fifth the next day for $100.

I think we understand English just fine...I think we just don't understand what you seem to be arguing about here.

Those wheels are priced at $115 or so a wheel in that link, and yes they appear to be new - it does not say whether they are genuine or aftermarket or if they were produced in China or not, but what we have been saying is that FOR LESS than that $115 each, we have been buying genuine boost wheels. They have been in varying conditions of used, but they have been genuine as they came off of the specific Land Rover Discovery 1's that were imported to the US in the specified years. Without specifically calling that particular vendor that was linked, about those specific boost wheels, their origin of manufacture is otherwise unknown.

I think we're all arguing the same point, but what you should also know is that there are Land Rover vendors who are a part of this forum who get in a lot of NTO parts (meaning New Take Offs) or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) that include boosts, and are still priced under $200 a wheel:

http://www.safarihp.com/defender/def...oy-wheels.html

Just because we paid less than you did for yours does not mean that we bought non-OEM boost wheels. That would be shameful.

Ugh that post wasn't supposed to be that long.

98 LSE D1 was, for certain, a model year with boosts stock as as ref point. Some other D1's had them too, particularly in the 98/99 years-never seen them stock on 94-95, or 96's.

Can be had-as was well expressed here by others-all day long at pick n pulls for ~$40 a wheel (give or take)

Seriously where did you come from. You have close to 200 posts about literally nothing and you just joined. The NYC crew really will take anyone?
