Blue French Bulldog Puppy

The elusive blue french bulldog is not a mythical beast, as once thought. In fact, it is a rare color that pops up from time to time and is highly sought after. My wife and four boys are now making it my job to find one.

Despite searching for 3-4 weeks, I cannot find an available blue french bulldog that's 'reasonably priced' (under $5000). Good Lord!

If anyone has a lead or a friend or family member that could connect me to an upcoming litter, without having to sell a kidney on the black market, I'd be grateful.

I know, it's not a beagle but it'll keep the kiddos happy.

Bingo

Nailed it Jonesy! That's him. Pretty cute.

Then again, any animal that has to be tested for ovulation, and then artificially inseminated (because they're unable to do 'the deed' naturally) and then can only give birth by cesarian (because of their large heads and small other parts) might not deserve to make it in this cruel world.

But ... I guess that's why the breeders can charge so much. I saw one priced at $35,000.

I have a British blue cat with a french name ... not for sale but I know the package was under $5k! ;-)

Cute as puppies, but this is what they look like as adults? No thanks.

Frenchies are great.

I'm still searching for the more elusive Piston though...

Jeff- absolutely a hassle. And this would be the appropriate forum being that Defender owners are well acquainted with the concept of unnecessarily and unreasonably taking on things that will result in loss of time, money and sanity, while flaunting their impracticability.

Josh- Easy now. That's a beautiful beast you've posted there. Let's get those super-sleuth skills to work finding me one.

Carmen- thanks but I think that might be a scam. There are TONS of scams on these dogs. Crazy. I reached out just in case but it's not looking good so far.

Thanks all! Keep em coming.

There were two. The puppyfind.com one looks better. I'm sure you've seen this one... the $5k/+ zone

I don't think I'd want to do the deed natually either if I was a male bull dog and that's what my "bitches" looked like. haha

The whole anatomy thing is just a cover! Hahaha.

Carmen- yeah, she has some awesome dogs. She has an all blue female that we looked at and I talked to her about. $6500!!! And she only gives limited AKC registration to keep people from breeding them. We'd like the option. You know ... because it sounds like such an easy process.

LOL! Hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

And why is it always the "bitches" fault? One of the biggest "bitches" I ever met was a guy.

Maybe the male of the breed has a smallish willy?

I would want that option to breed too. Can I just suggest when you do find your dog, if there is anyway to go pick her up yourself do that. Flying in a crate does not sit well with some. It can be traumatic.

Mission Accomplished

BTW- one of the links suggested here actually paid off. Found a great breeder in Atlanta and boom... Libby is part of the family now. D-90 does it again!
