Let me know if you get multiple offers. Some jerk stole the black paint (yes, the proper beluga black) out of the back of my truck that I was going to use to refinish mine.

Josh,
That sucks! Why can't people leave what is not there's alone. I would prefer not to have the wing tops at all but I have the holes drilled in the top of the fenders and "I ain't going down that path to fit em". Just keep an eye on this post and see who pops up.

That does suck about them stealing the paint. Why would anyone steal paint? Maybe they thought it was a can of expensive rhinolining. Kidding. On a serious note if you were going to paint them beluga, weren't you worried it wouldn't match the rest of the truck as the truck is clearly aged?

Josh,

Are you coming to ROTR May 21st?

I will get you enough proper mix of Beluga Black but I question why would you have the wings Beluga and not flat black?

I have no idea what color code the black is that they use on the black wingtops, but I'd hope/assume code 416 black would be a better match.

Wait, there's a ROTR in May? Had no idea. Hell yeah, I'll do that. Thanks! I don't have a sprayer though...had spray cans to use.

It was the weirdest thing...they didn't steal the primer or clearcoat, but took the actual coded paint. At the time I didn't even realize it happened (over the Summer) until I went to use it last week. Someone had undone my rear tonneau and the paint box was open, but it didn't look like they took anything. I had a block of Wustof knives I had forgotten to take out that they didn't take thank God (I had put then behind my seat, but forgot to take them out).

Weren't Jamie Deck's wingtops to paint code? I thought those looked good!

Thread bump.

I am going to paint my NATO wheels Portofino, but if I do not like them red, I will paint them Beluga.

Do you want to send me the Wing tops and I have them sprayed with the wheels? or drive to MD ?

Josh,
I think it was Barry, I bet he was around the corner with a brown sack over his nose and mouth just huffin away. He is a color kind a guy not in to clear or primer. Beluga black is his favorite crack!

I'll likely take you up on one of those. Looking at this, would you say it's paint or PC?

Clay, back when Barry lived out here in NJ, he was known as the kid who loved a brown sack over his nose and mouth.

Josh,

Hard to tell, the good quality ones come PC, but then when scratched people paint them. The lower priced ones are painted.

Just a word of caution, not all wingtop plates are the same size. I know Mommouth offers the black pc version, but they are smaller than the older plates (and other mfgs) and don't cover all the holes and outline.

I found a OEM set and had them powdercoated for 45 bucks. If I'm not mistaken, the LR ones are thicker.
