Bits needed for 4.2 auto conversion

I need a v belt alternator from a fuel injected truck with the adjustment bar

Also need a power steering pump and mount bracket

lastly need the ring that bolts to the crank (and the pan head bolts that secure it)
that the 4 bolt spacer ring bolts to
actually need this part first/fastest as its keeping us from installing the lump

Any chance you can show me an image of the part you are needing Doug for the flexplate arrangement. I have a bunch of those parts stacked up in a corner somewhere and hate to send the incorrect one.. May have the bolts also

Should have power steering bits as well. Have you got anything to trade?

Jim,
We are going to make the trek back to the truck we pulled the trans from and get the bit on the back of the crank this afternoon. Its a 5hour drive round trip but its Newman's house and will be fun. Was sweating Trey to procure his own parts but as usual handled it for him. Its called a spacer/adapter ring and bolts to the back of the crank and the four spacer bolts that attach the flexplate and ring gear thread into it. We had all of that just not the ring and the allen head bolts that attach it.

I thought you were talking about the front of the engine but couldn't figure out what you needed. I could have hooked you up with parts here. Oh well, Newman is way closer and their food is hard to beat. Rick gave me the bits needed off that RRC for Taylor's 4.0 build. Friends like Rick don't come any better!

The 4.2 going in Trey's truck is the one I got from you Mark. Using the trans out of that Rangie and a 1.2 lt230Q I had sitting around. Going to stick with the edlebrock setup so it should be fun to kick it down and floor it.

I'm going to have to chime in on that about Rick. He is a great guy and has been the most supportive of me in my maiden rover voyage/addiction. Haven't met him in person yet, but I most definitely and proudly consider him a friend.

Yup. He has built me up, talked me down, held my hand, set me straight, pissed me off and made me laugh. Great guy.

Glad you got it sorted. Sometimes it helps to be pulling the parts you need in a situation like that.
