Exactly.... Who's going to try and steal it. You know parking on the ruff mean streets of Hermosa Beach and all.

any rack you get for the hitch you can get a lock for the bolt.

Those old school racks limit what bikes you can carry.

So you say you park on the street?

Behind the park?

Yeah right, that thing hasn't sat outside in years. But if I drive to another beach it would be nice to come back to the truck with the rack still on it.

I know. Im over locking stuff up on this truck though. I leave it open all the time. It amazes me what people will do to try and steal stuff. Even when doors etc are left open. I once had somebody cut the section of a post off my deck in Colorado to steal a mountain bike. Amazing.

I have to agree I had one of those and you couldn't put any bike made in the last 20 years on the holders had to be a Schwinn from the 80's to work so I had it cut up and turned into a spare tire holder on my trailer - I saw one recently at my mechanics I'll see if I can track that one down - what's it worth to you?

I see what you are saying. Depends on the condition. I have seen a couple around but they are either rusting or powder coat is flaking off. If I can't find a nice old one Ill prob go with a newer style. Thanks

I've got one that was installed on a customers truck for about two hours and then removed because she didn't like it, been in our loft ever since. Everything is there including two keys. $325 not including the ride?

I have one
Will take the pic later on the weekend
It should be in decent condition as we had it on the LR3 for maybe 6 trips to the lake many moons ago

I am thinking 200.00 plus the ride from MD
