Again, he was really a great guy as most rover owners are!!
You're too nice. I would be enraged and call the guy up to bitch him out...

That could be, but it was replaced with something very similar so I think there was some pre meditation involved. It can be fixed pretty cheap so that's all that matters.

Board member? Not too many BRG '97's on the board ( who are fairly active that is ).

Honestly I would want the one he took off. You can't remove stuff after it is sold . Unacceptable

Not acceptable. Made even worse by the Cape May, NJ sticker. Unless you're "5'2", eyes of blue."

That was deliberately taken off... And poorly replaced with the wrong type of badge. That is a nice badge to have, on the wall in your office, but not on the back of your truck.

You can order a replacement, and stamp it with the correct numbers. But, I would still get in touch with the previous owner, have him provide you with the original, or at least buy the right one and have it professionally installed.

Ron from the board has been nice enough to sell me an OEM badge at a very reasonable price so all is good. I am just not sure how to have it stamped with the #. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Go to Harbor Freight and pick up a set of stamps... Practice on the back of the badge. These were stamped at the dock here in the US anyways, and many of them are far from perfect, so stamp away.
