Accelerator cable piece

Hi,

The plastic "thing" that is used to adjust the tension of the cable to the throttle body died on me. Everything else with my accelerator cable is fine. Since the cable assembly runs in the $50 (I think, looked at NTC9163 on Google briefly) I figured trying to find that plastic piece might be worth a shot. Was able to keep wheeling it with a bunch of zip ties, but the setup is not safe (try to have your engine rev up to 2500 rpm when trying to go up a tight obstacle.... ).

Anyone with a broken accelerator cable assembly that is trying to unload it? I "only" need the plastic piece that threads onto the cable.

Thanks,
Loic.

I wired mine on the RRC. Couple X wraps of copper wire around the plastic jimmy and the cable stop bracket and dunny dun. If I ever need to adjust it, I just loosen the wire.

Hum... I guess copper wires are stiffer and might work. The zip ties kept on sliding and it took patience and a lot of trials to get something that was "stable"!
