I know it's a long shot, but anyone out there have an AC for a RHD 200tdi truck?

Whatever. Why don't you fly around the world instead of driving? Sheesh.

I had one overnighted from the UK a couple of years ago- it was actually for Tony's old truck. Think it cost $250 shipping.

We have them in stock but you know there is some engineering that needs to be done for a 200 install

There are 2 vendors Elite and the company that Rovers North buys from Cool Air Logan (at least I think that is what they are called).

Like what? Besides needing a V-belt pulley or 200tdi compressor?

I keep trying to call, but I always get your answering machine.

Bryan is on his way back from DC which leaves Scott there alone. Please leave him a message as he will call back.

You will need a new harmonic balancer to add a grove and some brackets to fit the compressor plus some tensior pulleys for the timing cover to adjust the belt. We've installed and it wasn't hard just took some thinking slightly outside the box. $2199.00 for the RHD 300 TDI Kit which is the closest.

We only deal with Elite as I find their kits to be better documented and better made (hoses and such).

Wolf, have you looked at non-stock options like Nostalgic Air? I am also looking for RHD AC options but don't want to pony up for a couple grand. Yesterday, Nostalgic Air told me they would build a UD-160 evap for RHD.

Yep! I talked to them yesterday as well. I am likely going to go that route.

If you choose to do so, please keep us posted. I'm still a couple months away from making it happen.

I will. I'm within a few days to week on pulling the trigger. I've tried sourcing a kit from several UK and US vendors, but no dice.

Thanks to help from this forum, I pretty much have a complete parts list!

ATLcruiser still has a take off RHD under dash unit if you want to go that route. At least he had one a couple of weeks ago.
