I think we spoke yesterday... Did Stephen not have one?

Might also try to email ECR. Mike usually responds pretty quick early in the mornings. info at eastcoastrover dot com

might also try pendy pendy at pixius dot com

I guess you've tried Rovers North?

You'll probably have to buy the whole thing. You would be very lucky to find someone with just the lower half lying around.

Yep, no luck with Safari Rover, everyone I talk to is back ordered. I will give ECR a try, thanks for the help.

There was one for sale here a little while back. I've been PMing with the seller regarding another item he had for sale but haven't received a response back in a while...

I was able to get one at British Parts International (BPI) here in Houston with no problem.

Might want to check with them.

Still in desperate need of the lower fan shroud for 97 D90, if anyone knows of any leads it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, VB

Have you searched ebay for DI shrouds? I'm pretty sure they are the same and they are usually cheap on ebay.

Hi, Gents-

I also need one, and I can confirm that the D1 lower shrouds are not the same as the 97 D90. (I bought a upper/lower D1 set on Ebay hoping that both would work, but only the upper part is the same as the D90.)

I've had the correct one on backorder from RN for about 10 weeks, and may just end up trying to buy one from the UK directly when I get home from deployment. The 97 NAS D90 uses the same one as the 98 UK 50th Anniversary model (which also had a 4.0L V8).

The part # you need is ERR7307. Let me know if you find more than one!

When I do the 4.6 swap in my 94 in the spring, I'll probably have to fab something or figure out a way to modify the D1 one I have if I'm not able to find the correct one. I'm guessing that a swap is what has you looking.

Good luck!
Murph

Ah, good to know about the lower part. I knew the upper was definitely the same.

I also tried to modify the D1 shroud with a dremel tool and ended up with a piece of shredded plastic and a burnt up dremel tool.

I'm curious to know what the differences are. I have used a D1 shroud on D90's, both auto and manual, and it was simply a matter of trimming the corners to get it to fit. As others have said they are cheap and available.

I guess my skills are not up to par. I trimmed the sides but the bottom hits the fan and w my dremel tool is toast.

Use an air cut off wheel to mod a defender one. I've had to do it but I hate it. I have 20 on order and nothing. Been at least 6 months.
