Post '95 Defender 90 NAS Owner's Manual

Hey everyone -- first post after lurking around a little bit lately. I picked up a '95 Defender 90 NAS a few weeks ago and I'm absolutely loving it. I've always wanted to drive one and the right truck came my way so I just had to do it. There's so much great info on here and it's been so helpful but call me old-fashioned -- I'd love to have a copy of the owner's manual to have on-hand. If anyone has an extra they could part with or know where I can pick one up, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

PS - here I am, putting my new truck to use, towing a pretty damn heavy generator for a film shoot I was working on.

Nice truck. Did you buy this one? http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=29578

Manuals are pretty hard to come by. Keep checking ebay unless someone here has one they can part with.

There are a bunch of us on the Westside of town. Hopefully we can all get together soon and stop just talking about it...

Yep -- picked it up from D90Art. Nice guy and he really cared for this truck... it looks and has been running really great. I would love to get together on the westside sometime. Do you guys have a shop that you like for general maintenance stuff?

You can try either Four Oaks in Santa Monica or British Car Service by LAX. I have mixed feelings about both but they are really the only places around this area.

You could try Mitchells in Culver City on Jefferson. Haven't used them myself but I think they know their stuff.

Check with user Defender Pilot to see if he has any manuals for a '95 - he usually has 1 or 2 manuals.

I would say in venice four oaks would be easiest. Also there is British Eurotech which a lot of people like

Also had good experiences at both four oaks and british car service. Pretty sure I saw your truck getting off on Lincoln of the 10 about a week or so ago.

Shop manual and Owner's manual are different. I'm sure you'll find the Shop Manual more useful in the end...

Fair point. I'm new to the Defender world, so it may be that I've not identified the correct document. If one of you gentlemen with more experience want to take a look, you can find them here:

http://macassemble.com/lrm/

The manual (I think) for the '97 is here:

http://macassemble.com/lrm/defender/...20(latest).pdf

And I believe this is the one for the '93-95 V8 3.9 L engine, manual transmission:

http://macassemble.com/lrm/defender/...l%20(1993).pdf

I say all this with some reservation, as (a) I could be wrong and (b) somebody on the forum seems to have started a cottage industry selling printouts of these files for north of $100. I'd hate to piss off a long-time member with my second post...
