94 POE, Need rear cage

Just picked up a 94 POE Wagon, I need the entire rear roll cage as these didn't come with it at all. Why Rover didn't leave the roll cage in I don't understand. Anyway if anyone has the complete cage or knows where I can get one please let me know. Thanks, Derek (202) 246-7966

You can't use the NAS roll cage and the aluminum top together...one or the other..not both at the sametime.

Sent you a link to someone on CL selling one...

Well that answers my question as to why they took the cage out, I thought they both would work, like the later S/W. Oh well. At least it will remain original....

The station wagon doesn't have a soft top cage. In fact, not a single part you see is shared with the soft top, only the underbody supports are the same. Even the bar behind the seats is different, despite its very similar appearace.

I'm not a fan of the POE cage at all since it doesn't offer any real protection at all. Someone here was selling a station wagon cage this month, but I forget who. If I had a POE (which I do) I would replace the cage with one that worked. Fortunately, the previous owner replaced the cage, so I didnt have to worry about it.

Yeah it is a bit scary driving, because you basically cover by a think sheet of tin foil. be careful driving. And get a rollcage and soft top for the summer. They are a lot safer.

Funny thing about those POE's. I know a few people who worked at LRNA when they brought those in and did they helped with the conversions at the dock. The stock rollcages were just THROWN AWAY (as in, into the dumpster). No joke. Sad, huh?

I know it's crazy, I wish I knew the cage didn't fit inside the ht. So maybe it's a good idea to have a winter and summer setup and just swap the cage and top every season change....

Or buy the full SW cage from someone and sell me the front hoop off yours with the little adaptor pieces.
