8274 parts

My recently acquired 8274 was the victim of a serious lack of maintanance. Among other things, the mounting bolts became one with the mounts. I've tried drilling them out but have only managed to wallow out the holes in the aluminum as well. So it appears I'll need a new end support and lower assembly.

Before I throw down money on new shiny parts for an otherwise old winch, does anyone have either of these parts sitting in the back corner of their garage?

Many thanks

I may have a lower case, I will have to look through my 8274 parts. I know have one left but i think it was the victom of a front end impact so not sure on it condition.

Tony

Sounds like you may have the early winch mine have the slip in nuts that slide into the case so to speak that mount the winch.

Does yours have threaded holes in the case?

Thanks Ed

I have types but only a parts winch for the later one.

Ok so you need the lower case half and the outer drum mount correct. I have the lower case not sure on the drum mount but will check the bin.

Exactly -- I need essentially the two ends of the drum -- the chunks that actually hold the winch to the bumper.

Thanks!

I have never priced or sold winch part, I keep them around for just what your dealing with now. Make me a fair offer as I have no idea what they are worth? maybe half of new price or less? im not sure.

As soon as I get rid of these ill need them, just seems to work that way for me, but I have had them for a year now and not used them.

Im easy make a offer I think I can fit them in a large flat rate box so shipping should be about 15.00

Ed or you can call me 907 350 0122
