4.0L Engine Fan Cowl

I unfortunately bested the fan cowl trying to get it out. Does anyone have one laying around that they would want to sell?

Thanks,
Joe

um, yeah...my rover parts guru said those are extinct everywhere.

I need one, too.
Going to modify an older shroud/other model shroud to work.

How bad is yours Joe? Is it at all still usable?
Maybe even as a mold to make another one?

Well, it's very nicely busted in half. I cannot believe how flimsy this part is. I've been looking at it for half a day to figure out how to epoxy + make some sort of bracket to screw it back together but nothing I'm satisfied with yet.

yeah...dont throw it in the garbage yet.

There some youtube videos of guys who custom make fan shrouds and I was wondering if a custom shop could do the same process using a 97/4.0 shroud as the model.

Don't use epoxy. Use 3m 5200 quick cure marine adhesive/sealant. I glued up a BMW 635 CSI front spoiler from the back side with that stuff and the glued repairs were stronger than the rest of the spoiler
