305 70 R16 Good Year MTR just one

Before I run out and buy new I was wondering if anyone here has one of these tires taking up space. It is for a spare so it needs to have a little tread and be able to hold air.

Thanks
Eric

Eric, how do you like those tires? Do you have a picture of your truck with them mounted? I was considering them but have never seen how they look on a D (in that size I mean).

I just sent them out on Friday to be mounted so they will not be on the truck until the week before the Romp. I have never used them before since I have been a Swamper guy up till now so time will tell.

I'm hoping they clear the rear springs on the 110. If not I have spacers but I would rather not use them.

Hopefully you won't need the spacers.

I've got OME 751 springs on the front and 759 on the rear. They do a pretty good job since I don't rub when I turn the wheel all the way.

Eric, any word on the tires? I'd love to hear what you have to say and see pics since I am considering them for my 110. I appreciate the pics from Wes, but would really like to see them on factory wheels and hear about any rubbing on the 110 springs. Thanks!

Here is the deal they don't fit the 110 easily. On the rear they HIT the spring mounts so add spacers and then the wheel hit the axle bolts. Machine the wheels now they fit fine. On the front it is a 110 1-ton axle so the wheels do not fit and the spacers do not fit. Off to the machine shop to get the spacers machined for the front. Once all of that was done they fit and work awesome. I still have full lock to lock turning. I have a big pic I can email but nothing small to put up here.

Eric

This Pic might work.

So let me make sure I understand this, on a NAS 110 with the orig. steel wheels, will I have clearance problems? What about with spacers? I have a set of spacers sitting here if I need them, but I really want to get new tires soon, so that I can put the orig. wheels back on and drive this thing. I am assuming your problems stem from using the alloys and from your different front axle, is this right?

The front was because of my odd axle. The rears didn't fit without spacers because they hit the bigger 110 spring mounts.

Thanks Eric. So the rears should fit just fine with the spacers installed? You mentioned the wheel hitting the axle bolts with the spacers installed, but I wasn't really sure what you meant. Hopefully all is well, I just ordered 5 BFG MT KM's in 305/70/16, so I guess we'll see.

The wheel hit the axle bolts with the spacers but steel wheels would have no problem.
