I can source and send you just the bearing from here. If interested I can get an actual quote for it. You need a press and be really carefull to replace it since you can crack/brake the timing cover.

Cheers,

This is it. It costs equivallent to 50 dollars here (+ shipping that I would have to check with the post office). Or... you can see if these guys in Miami actually have it and its even cheaper than here (which I dont know how could it be since we build them down here)

http://www.rpmbearings.com/filtro.ph...7-20&x=73&y=17

PS: I see why, they have a $500 minimum sale Price tag.

Thank you Santiago.
I will check with their Florida office to see if they can make an exception, in case they don't I will need you, if possible, to send me one. I have a mailing address in Miami, probably will be easier for the shipping.

I ended up with a jaguar fan idler bearing that is supposed to be the same.

was on ebay listed as:

Jaguar XJS 1975 NOS Factory Original Fan Bearing C37836

I think it is from one of these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-JAGUAR-...-/160687811378

I may actually try to do this soon, will follow up either way.

Thanks!

Good to know but its cheaper and brand new the option Im offering here. In case you can source the bearing in the US measures 38.1x15.9x74.5 mm. This one is INA Brand and is OEM for Maxion 2.5 and 2.8 engines which equipped Ford Rangers, Chevrolet S10, Mercedes Benz Sprinter and Brasilian made Land Rover Defender all of these Mercosurs Products seen around here.

Land Rover only offers the complete timing belt cover and it usually costs 6 times more tan just the bearing.

Just let me know if you need any 2.5/2.8 HS parts. I may be able to help you guys. Im just giving you a hand with it, not making any profit.

Cheers,

Oh yeah mine is new too. I bought it last year, been sitting on the shelf since then. Had I seen your post, probably would have gone that route instead. Many thanks!
