Anyone heading to winter romp (or not) and have a 300tdi dipstick tube? Mine broke.

I have one at the barn. I know that's not much help. If you still have the nut that holds it in the case, you can just go to NAPA or whatever and get a short hunk of 3/8 brake line tube. That and a brass olive from the plumbing aisle should do the trick.

I think the dipstick tube is the same as a 2.25 and so forth.

Should be pretty easy to make from copper tube. Could you solder a ring made of a little piece of 12G copper wire on there to stop the o-ring? Dunno. I was thinking it was like the 200Tdi one with the nut, olive and tube thing. I never took the one I ordered out of the blue Britpart bag to look at the end. Guess I should return it...
