3.9 motor

Putting a feeler out there. I'm tearing down to see if my problem is just top end.

Anyone have a motor?

Thanks

Thanks. I'm in the market for something a little more used just to get me by a while. I'm in the middle of a thousand hp 2011 Camaro project. The rover will get love next spring.

Shane, if it's just top end, I have a motor with a slipped liner. Not sure if that helps you though.

Thanks. I have asked premature. I tested my waterproofing at hood level for a half a mile. I neglected to waterproof for letting it in the fuel tank. Thats all that stopped it. I tried to take precautions when firing it up again, but I did not do a good job. I'm tearing it apart and will get back with you. Even though there is no noise from the bottom end, I think that there is a fair chance the rods are S'ed.

Thanks again. I'll know more soon.

That sounds good, but I have to get it to 65619. That is pretty much my budget. I know it is a pain to ship things. Thanks

That is the engine complete before wheels and tires and half shafts. Turbos and parts are almost all together, but plumbing is going to take a bit since I am going against the grain of thinking by most.
I'm hoping for a January 15 dyno of over 750 to the ground. I'm going to have to learn a little about fuel setups after that and maybe another motor to get further.
