3.9 liter motor for 1994 Defender 90

engine is dead, i'm looking for a 3.9 or something bolt in compatible that has a few miles left on it (would like to get 20k miles out of it), i'm located about 2.5 hours east of sacramento and would like to find something on the west coast, if you have exhaust and accessories i might be interested in those as well...

price depends on condition, but would like to spend less then 1500, can come pick it up, potentially pull it out... I would certainly pay more for something currently in a running vehicle

I have a long block for $200 if you want it, but I am not sure how you are going to get it to you.

i was under the impression the 4.0 would require alot of extra stuff to get it running.

I have a low miles 1988 RRC rust bucket with a Defender 3.9 in it (numbers confirm). Previous owner claims the motor only has 5,000 miles. Plus NRP exhaust installed when the motor was. Plus Bilstein shocks, etc. Runs fantastic. $1,385 and it's yours. Even cheaper if I keep some odd parts. You can fly out and drive back. Or I can deliver.
