3.5 V8 A/C Bits

Hey everyone, I'm trying to source the parts to convert by 85 LHD V8 3.5 to A/C. I believe most / all of these parts can come off of a 87-88 RR Classic, but y'all probably know better than me. Here is the parts list with what I think are the correct numbers. Please let me know what you may have.

Once I get this installed, I will start a thread on the forum and post a detailed outline of the steps b/c I have found it to be a complete pain in the A$$ and I haven't even started yet. There is very little info floating around on the internet, meaning I am a pioneer or just completely stupid for trying to do it. If I am wrong about anything please let me know.

ERR4524 Compressor Bracket - Safari HP is working on a production run, but nothing yet
ERC6545 Secondary Compressor Bracket
ERC6538 Alternator Bracket
90613442 or ETC8440 Alternator guard
ERC7548 Alternator Link adj
ETC5665 or ETC6408 Power steering twin pulley

I think I may need 614178 or 614154 A/C tensioner pulley
6135540 Bracket for A/C tensioner pulley
ERC6540 Twin Groove Fan pulley

I will need 4 different belts, but I'll just buy those new.

I can probably buy all of these bits new, but I am on a budget and I'm sure someone has these. Thanks

Those parts should be fairly easy to source for nearly nothing in cost. I'd pop for a new compressor tho.

How about the condenser? Is that just for the defender, or can I use the pre 1994 rrc also. I found everything in one place, including the condenser. I would probably rather by a new condenser, but I'm sure the bracketing / fan I would need is important also. Thanks

I just finished adding AC to mine and got it running this week. I used factory components on the engine for the compressor and alternator. Everything else I put together using parts from old air.com, vintage air.com and nostalgic air.com. A bit custom for sure, but I too am on a budget. I can provide pictures and info on how I set it up if you want?

I would love to see how you did it. Picture of evaporator and the engine mounting. Your parts list. I'm contemplating the narrow 16" unit from nostalgic air vs the entire under dash unit from cool air Logan. The lady at nostalgic air said the small unit has great reach bc the vents rotate 360 degrees and angle much better than regular vents. I also like their center console / rear unit from cool air Logan. We should almost have a thread for "3.5 aircon options."

Let's go all in and just make ourselves a 3.5 sub-forum! Very interested to see how this goes.
