200tdi Parts

Ok - going to consolodate my threads so Mods feel free to delete the others

Need the following:
  1. 200tdi Oil pan - managed to poke a hole in mine moving it around... ugh!
  2. Rad/Intercooler housing frame (should be 4 pieces i believe that go around the 2 units and hold them in place.
  3. 200tdi air filter housing (may have a lead on this).

Do you have anyone nearby with a MIG or TIG that can weld it for you?

If you were down here, I'd do it for you.

If the hole in the oil pan is small JB weld will work until you can find a new pan.

Weld it... They are NLA new and you would need to get one from another engine...

Yea just called around and they are rare as dragon shit. RN wanted $450 and 4 weeks.

Off it comes, and I'm welding it back up. It is right by the drain plug. but only a small slit, should be easily weldable.

I only have a mig, lets see how oilproof my welds can get!

Brazing will give you as good a repair as welding without the risk of burning holes in the sheet metal.

It is easily weldable with a MIG. I've done one before.
