200tdi or 300tdi conversion kit

Hey guys,
Looking for all the goodies to convert my 95' lwb over to a tdi. 200 or 300. Doesn't matter as long as its a good running set up and is already in the USA. Had a bit of an issue with customs on one I purchased a few months back and am trying to avoid overseas shipping. Nothing like throwing thousands down the toilet:/ let me know what you have and what price you are looking to get for it. After taking a hit on the last attempt at getting a kit, my budget has taken a hit.

Do tell: Did you have to forfeit your engine kit?

That's what it's looking like. I'm still in the dark on it. California ports I tell ya....
Even if it does go through, it'll take quite some time and I don't want to wait anymore, so if anyone out there has a kit for a decent price, let's talk!

For what it's worth, urban has an EXCELLENT reputation and I think most everybody on here would agree....southmouth has yet to be seen. I have heard horror stories on other forums...just my 2c

Best of luck

I also have a RRC conversion in progress though I am using an Isuzu 3.1

Why convert to diesel when California wont allow you to register it?

Dave is a regular on here...atlcruizer I believe. You can find his posts in the for sale section as he is bringing a lot of rovers and parts in. Referenced above as Atlanta cruiserswith regard to Dave. When my 300 tdi broke down on a trip he offered to send me the parts I needed (front cover-p gasket, water pump, radiator, you get the picture)and said we could just settle up later. Just goes to his character.

Well, zak(aka south mouth) and I couldn't work out a payment method that I am comfortable with. Especially after reading those threads!!!! So still looking. I've had a few pm's, so hopefully I can lock one down ASAP to get my classic on the road. Not saying that the cost of the kit will make up in fuel economy straight away, but commuting 100+ every day in my f250 powerstroke isn't what I call....efficient!

2000 f250 7.3. Also known as THE BEST motor ever put in a ford well, it's a 4x4 as well so I get about 13-15mpg normally. My grandfather had a 2wd long bed that got 20+mpg and half over 400k on the odometer. Best truck I've ever owned, but just getting tired of $120 fill ups every 4 days :@ !!
