Have you checked with Zack at Rovers North? They sometimes have swap kits they pallet and ship. I would personally trust them to stand behind their products. I'm at the tail end of a 200 swap and had I known, they would have been a good choice of vendor to have considered.

Thanks Clay. We have 3 300tdi kits in stock ready to go. I've got 20k on my kit without a single issue.

DNW has already been suggested to Michael in his first thread (looking for a cheap Canadian shop) and he stated that they were too expensive and they did not price honestly. So he wouldn't want to use them. Zombie motors would be better perhaps.

Thanks Dave! We have a 2-3 used 300 blocks available for cheap if someone wanted to rebuild... Same for used heads, and all new ancillaries in stock.

Alternately new or take-out is available in our container shipments - been building up a few 300tdi engines this week...

None.

Even though the installation is a million times simpler the diminishing parts supply on the 200 (and short production cycle/volume) means we suggest the 300 when budgets permit.

I am starting to lean towards the 300TDI swap for the availability of parts for repair.

Now, can you reuse LT77 with 300TDI? Do you need to brace the bell housing at all to prevent flex?

I have seen on another forum that instead of rewelding a motor mount, you can create a bracket on the RHS instead.

Does Turner sell long blocks? When I spoke to them about it, they said they don't. You must have special connections...

You have a PM.

I sent him a PM. I have ordered parts from them before. I trust them as a parts supplier.

So how long have you been at it? How do you like swapping Disco 200tdi? Where did you source the downpipe?

It has been a bit unorthodox. The downpipe is a work in process. My truck is RHD and I've got a 300 turbo. I didn't exactly know what I was purchasing and the seller didn't either. Not a recommended formula. Do your homework and then have someone check your homework.

I hear you. Your install looks very clean and looks as though it was always there.

https://www.steveparkers.com They sell parts for different engine conversions as far as I can tell. I asked them about shipping to US but haven't heard a thing back.

Is there a reason why you chose disco TDI? Other than there are more of it?
