1993 RRC Pet Barrier

Hi all - trying to find a bolt in OEM or original (I think they were in the Hunter model) pet barrier for a 1993. Evidently the 1995 one which is the only one I can find doesn't fit the 1993 model. Bummer.

Anyone have one I can buy? My wife just got a very frisky puppy and I need to keep her off the seats!

I know a guy that has one sitting in his garage. I'll let you know if he wants to sell it.

So sorry. Says he sold it and was waiting for the guy to pick it up still. I'll keep my eyes open and also let you know if his deal/buyer bails.

What do these sell for? I ask because I have a friend that has one and might be interested in selling as well. If it works out I can bring it to the city this weekend when I visit my daughter.

I've seen them go for 150 without shipping. If it is a 1993 and you can deliver, then I'm willing to do $200 but my budget is $200. Let me know!

Get a big crate, the fitted ones can be a pain in the arse if you want to load long stuff inside.

Don't know. Rovers North says there is a difference, but I thought they just attached to the seat releases, which is the same in both years.

'95 is not bolted. It's bungeed in place and has upper brackets from which it is suspended. Older headliners may or may not have a whisker plug in the place where this hanger attaches on the '95. I like the older bolted on barriers better.

I have one for my '94 that I plan on installing soon...I think it requires cutting the plastic covers that cover the seat releases. odd

I think it just requires drilling the 2 holes but I'll have to look again- I did it 12 years ago...

Two holes drilled into the wheel arch. Dont buy a guard without those.

Alternatively check the Travall site.

My bracket just doesn't seem to be as OEM fitting as it should be, see these pics. It has to sit behind the seat release (pic 1), it can't sit in front of it because the seat latch would hit it. So I think I have to take off the plastic cover, drill the holes and cut a slit in the cover so that it will slide over it.

And honestly, I feel like the bracket shouldn't have an L bend in it, because if it were flat it would sit flat on top of the box. But with the bend, it lips over the edge. What's it supposed to be?
